Princess Diana smacked Prince Harry for 'casual racism', new book …
Princess Diana once smacked Prince Harry after he mocked the accent of a Punjabi bus driver, royal biographer Robert Jobson has claimed in his upcoming book. Robert has written a number of royal biographies, including two on the late Princess Diana, co-written with her Scotland Yard personal protection officer Inspector Ken Wharfe. The new book, titled Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, looks at the life of King Charles, including his marriage to the late Princess, and how he fathered his children Prince William and Prince Harry.
In one segment, he discusses an outing that Diana took with her two sons, which she ended early due to Harry making fun of a bus driver's accent.

In an extract of the book, published by the Daily Mail, Robert wrote: "On the bus, Diana had to tell Harry to stop mimicking the Sikh bus conductor's pronounced Punjabi accent every time a passenger pressed the bell to get off. "The conductor, a jovial chap wearing a bright yellow turban, was relaxed about Harry's casual racism, but Diana was so mortified that she eventually told Ken Wharfe to abandon the trip. "Diana, Ken, William and Harry all got off at Green Park and Diana immediately smacked Harry and told him: 'Don't you ever do that again.'"
Robert claims that, following this, Diana made Harry write a letter to Inspector Wharfe to apologise for his behaviour, and for ruining the outing.
Robert Jobson's biography of King Charles will publish just weeks before the coronation (Image: GETTY)Our King is set for publication on April 13, just weeks before the King's coronation, which may see the monarch reunite with his son Prince Harry. However, while Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been invited to the historic occasion, it's been reported that they are still yet to RSVP, despite the deadline already passing. A royal insider told MailOnline that those planning the historic event are "none the wiser" over Harry and Meghan's attendance.
This is said to be causing a "headache" for planners as they are currently attempting to finalise details such as seating arrangements and security.

All people have been told is that 'it should hopefully be resolved soon.' "But in the meantime, the teams are trying to finalise plans for 2,000 guests, many of whom are international heads of state and VIPs.
It's a headache." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are thought to now be "on the brink" of confirming their attendance, with a source telling The Times: "I hear they are going to confirm their plans soon, particularly now that Biden has." US President Joe Biden called King Charles to let him know he will not be attending the coronation in May but his wife Jill will be there.
