Queen Elizabeth Gave Meghan Markle One Big Piece Of Advice …
Following her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was formally brought into the world of the British royal family, all its pageantry, protocols, and personal relationships. Royal analysts and commentators had a new factor to study within this enigmatic family.
According to royal commentator and author Robert Jobson, things started out quite friendly between Meghan and Queen Elizabeth, to the point that the late monarch had given Meghan what she thought would be very valuable advice. Meghan Markle was not the first and only "commoner" to marry into the British royal family, and probably won't be the last. Kate Middleton worked in the fashion industry before marrying Prince William.
It's a very different world, so that is why, reportedly, when Queen Elizabeth welcomed Meghan in, she did so while also advising Meghan on how to best learn the ropes and adjust. Here is what Jobson claims Elizabeth told her and how Meghan reportedly responded.

Jobson is the author of the book Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, due out April 13. Jobson claims that once Meghan joined the royal family, Queen Elizabeth had a one-on-one chat with her.
Meghan was reportedly "warmly welcomed" and the queen allegedly admitted to feeling "so pleased Harry had at last found love."
Then, Elizabeth offered Meghan advice to address her unique, but not unheard-of, position as a relative newcomer. Jobson's book claims that Elizabeth suggested Meghan get close to Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, to get herself under the wing of a member of the senior royalty.
Duchess Sophie is the wife of Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen's youngest son.

If the queen had truly tried to bridge this connection between Meghan and Sophie, who at the time was Countess of Wessex, it would have been a sensible one. Before she married Prince Edward in 1999, Sophie maintained her own career in public relations. Even though she is descended from King Henry IV of England, her family by the time of her birth had been middle class.

Sophie is described as very independent, increasing her similarities with Meghan, whose parents divorced when she was very young, leaving her estranged from her father.
Allegedly, when Queen Elizabeth offered Meghan this advice, the former Suits star offered a short response: "I've got Harry." This reply reportedly left the queen "surprised."
Do you think these events took place, and would it have made a difference, getting brought under Sophie's wing?
