With less than two weeks to go until King Charles' Coronation, plenty of Royal Family members have been spotted out and about in public. Prince Harry and Meghan were seen at a Los Angeles basketball game last night, smiling and giggling as they appeared on a big screen in front of 20,000 people. Early this morning, Prince William attended a dawn service to commemorate Anzac Day, when Australians and New Zealanders gather to mark the anniversary of the ill-fated Gallipoli landings.

And yesterday, the Princess of Wales made a surprise visit to the Baby Bank in Maidenhead, where she helped volunteers sort through clothes that had been kindly donated. Meanwhile, King Charles and Camilla sent a touching message to 500 winners of the Coronation Champion Awards this morning, after they were announced by a volunteering charity. It comes 11 days ahead of the historic event, with millions of people set to tune in and hold street parties across the UK.

Volunteering charity reveals list of 500 Coronation champions

A volunteering charity has crowned 500 people across the UK as Coronation Champions. The awards were launched as part of a project with Camilla, the Queen Consort, and celebrate volunteers who have been contributing to their communities. Thousands of people aged from 14 to 103 were nominated and then hand-picked by a judging panel.

Commending the winners, the Royal Family tweeted: "Congratulations to all 500 Coronation Champions - announced today!"

Canada announces celebrations for King's Coronation

Canada's Government has released details of celebrations for King Charles' Coronation. It said: "For more than 50 years, His Majesty King Charles III has had a close connection to our country and a special relationship with Canadians.

"His Coronation is a historic event, a first in 70 years for our constitutional monarchy, and marks the beginning of his reign as King of Canada. "Today, the Minister of Canadian Heritage, Pablo Rodriguez, unveiled the details of the Canadian celebrations surrounding His Majesty's Coronation." The televised celebrations will include performances from the Algonquin group Eagle River Singers, slam poet Sabrina Benaim, singer-songwriter Florence K, the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir, and traditional music group Inn Echo.

Many landmarks will also be illumniated in green to mark the big day, and a 21-gun salute will be fired from Parliament Hill.

Police to use 'full range of powers' to avoid Coronation disruption

Disruption to King Charles' Coronation will be prevented by police using their "full range of powers", said Oliver Dowden amid reports of planned sabotage involving rape alarms. The Deputy Prime Minister said "all necessary steps" will be taken to "protect the integrity" of the May 6 ceremony in central London. The Mail on Sunday cited "senior security sources" as warning that protesters are plotting to disrupt the event by throwing rape alarms at horses in the procession.

It said this has prompted concerns in Government over safety if spooked horses bolted into crowds lining the route to Westminster Abbey.

Prince William leads London commemorations in 5am Anzac Day service

Prince William has attended a dawn service to commemorate Anzac Day - when Australians and New Zealanders come together to remember their war dead. The Prince of Wales laid a wreath during the 5am ceremony at Hyde Park, where members of the Armed Forces and public also gathered to mark the anniversary of the ill-fated Gallipoli landings during the First World War. Last night, the Royal Family shared a post on its official Twitter page to remember all those who died while serving their country.

It tweeted: "This #AnzacDay, we pay tribute to all the men and women in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, who served and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations." Read more here.

Prince Harry and Meghan laugh and smile on kiss cam at basketball game

Prince Harry and Meghan were captured smiling and giggling on a kiss cam at a Los Angeles basketball game last night. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex laughed awkwardly when they were caught on camera at the NBA basketball game, but despite Harry's apparent enthusiasm Meghan seemingly declined a kiss as they appeared on the big screen in front of 20,000 people.

The royal couple were at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown LA when they appeared on the jumbotron. Harry had been talking to another spectator as they were shown on screen, leaving Meghan waving and smiling. Their appearance comes just days after it emerged that Harry would attend the King's Coronation without Meghan.
