The Prince Harry Coronation demand William has knocked back
Prince Harry has had one of his key demands for the Coronation knocked back by his brother Prince William, according to reports. The Duke of Sussex is flying into the UK for the event on his own while wife Meghan Markle stays in the USA with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. He had hoped to force a meeting with his older brother and father, the King, before the event in London on May 6.
He also wanted an apology from his family for his perceived bad treatment of his family and in particular, the Duchess of Sussex. But the future monarch has dismissed any notion of speaking with Harry after claims made in his memoir Spare. William came in for many of the most damaging claims in the book, including one episode where Harry alleges he was physically attacked by his brother.
However, Buckingham Palace is said to believe the pair will put on a united front as best they can for their father on a historic day. She told Fox News: "The palace's ultimate objective is to avoid conflict. "William, without a doubt, was the most hurt by Harry's actions. The two have not spoken since the Queen's funeral.

And despite Harry telling media outlets that he would only attend the Coronation if his family received an apology." She added: "...my sources say that no such apology has happened in private."
Schofield claimed both William and his wife Kate still have a "deep love" for Harry, but this does not extend to Meghan. She said they will "tolerate Harry's presence...despite the bad blood and betrayal," but added: "The same could not be said for Meghan. I think William and Catherine would have had a much harder time navigating Meghan's presence."
Harry is not expected to play a role in the Coronation. According to The Mirror, he will not take part in either the King's or Coronation processions and will not be on the balcony at Buckingham Palace afterward. Despite that, it is believed Harry is aware of the importance of the day to his dad and will not attempt to steal the limelight.
He is expected to leave the UK almost immediately after the ceremony to get back to California to spend the late part of the day with Archie, who turns four on the same day.
