Troels Lund Poulsen, Acting Danish Defense Minister, announced this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov on Monday, Ukraine Media Center reports. The Ukrainian military is already mastering these 155-mm wheeled self-propelled howitzers on Danish training grounds. "We hope that we will deliver Caesar self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine next month.
They are currently on training grounds in Denmark," Poulsen said.

"Regarding Leopard 1 tanks. Two months ago, Denmark signed an agreement with Germany. We hope to start supplying the tanks by the summer.
Looking forward to half a year, it will be possible to deliver about 100 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine. And we will be able to discuss the supply of Leopard 2, of which there are not many in Denmark. We will consider other possible ways of transmission," said Poulsen.
He also added that it is important that Ukrainian specialists acquire skills in maintaining and repairing these weapons before they arrive in Ukraine, and this will be dealt with. "Our soldiers are already mastering Caesar. And soon you will hear tanks growling in Ukraine with a Danish accent," Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, noted.

It was announced in January that Ukrainian gunners would receive 19 CAESAR artillery systems from Denmark. In early April, Denmark and Norway agreed to jointly supply 8,000 artillery shells to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As noted, the agreement between the two countries suggests the joint production of ammunition.
In Denmark, 155-mm Norwegian artillery shells will be equipped with Danish propellants and detonators in ready-made artillery rounds.
The shells are expected to be delivered along with the Caesar self-propelled howitzers.
