York University stabbing suspects sought by police

Toronto police are looking for three men -- all described as being in their early 20s -- after a stabbing at York University on March 29[1].

On March 29 at 6 p.m., officers responded to a call in the York Boulevard and Keele Street area for reports of a stabbing.

Police said the victim was at the university's campus when they were approached by three men, who then demanded the victim's jacket. The suspects assaulted the victim before the victim fled.

Police report that the victim then saw the suspects assault a second victim.

The first victim allegedly tried to help the second victim but was then stabbed with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, before the suspects fled.

Police describe all three suspects[2] as men between 20-25 years old and clean-shaven.

The first suspect is six feet tall and approximately 180 lbs. with a short black Afro. Police said he was last seen wearing a shiny black puffer jacket, blue pants and black running shoes.

The second suspect is five-foot-seven and 150 lbs. with short black spiky hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, grey sweatpants and black shoes with white soles.

The third suspect is also described as five-foot-seven and 150 lbs. with short black spiky hair. Police said he was last seen wearing a brown puffer jacket, black shirt, grey sweat pants and black shoes.
