Freight train derails in the Russian Federation, allegedly due to the detonation of a railway track

A freight train derailed in the Bryansk region of Russia on Monday morning. Propaganda media of the aggressor country claim that the incident allegedly was caused by the detonation of a railway track. The 60-car train was transporting oil and construction materials.

The Russians report that the train derailed on the Rassukha-Unecha railway line due to damage to the railway track, causing a fire.

They preliminarily state that shortly before the train accident, the tracks were blown up. Traffic on the road section has been suspended. The incident occurred at 10:17 Moscow time (0717 GMT). The authorities of the Russian region confirmed that the freight train had derailed as a result of the undermining of the railway track.

"An unidentified explosive device went off at the 136-kilometre mark on the Bryansk-Unecha railway line, derailing a freight train. No casualties reported. Emergency services are currently on site.

Traffic on this section of the road is suspended," the governor of Bryansk region wrote. According to the Russian side, seven freight wagons were derailed.

Emergency services are working on site. Because of this, passenger trains may be delayed. As previously reported, today, power lines pole blown up in the Gatchina district of the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation.
