Prince Harry still 'not speaking' to William ahead of 'face off' at …
Omid Scobie joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning to discuss Prince Harry's involvement in his father King Charles' Coronation. The royal biography said: "This is the first time Harry sees his family face-to-face since the release of Spare but I don't think people know that there has been somewhat regular pattern of conversation between him and his father since the release of that book. "Now, have they discussed the details and the points that he wanted to go into?
From what I hear, no but he has had contact with his dad and of course, there have been some negative moments with the loss of Frogmore Cottage, they lose they keys to that any week now. "He would have spoken to his father about that but he also discussed his attendance at the Coronation with his dad and made it clear he wanted to be apart of it, which I think was really well received."
Meghan Marke's friend says 'royals are RELIEVED' she's not going to Coronation in explosive interviewOmid shared an insight into Harry attending the Coronation (ITV)He added: "It's interesting to compare that with where William and Harry are, which is in the exact same place as where we last saw them." Holly asked: "No contact?" To which Omid replied: "There's been minimal contact since the funeral."
Meghan will stay in California while Harry attends the Coronation in the UK. Speaking about her motivation behind that decision, Omid continued: "People around the Sussexes guided press at the time that this is very much about Archie's fourth birthday. "I disagree with that to some extent because I also know from friends of hers that she's protecting her peace as well.
She is aware of how much the spotlight goes on her when she sets a foot near the story."
Holly and Phil quizzed Omid on Harry and William's relationship (ITV)Omid claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is aware she could "steal the spotlight" if she attended and wanted to avoid doing so. Phillip asked if certain members of the Royal Family would be "relived" by the fact Meghan isn't attending. "I would say so, and I would put it down to the fact that so much of the attention goes on someone they would rather didn't go on," he claimed.
"If you look back at some of Meghan and Harry's biggest problems, it was all down to the fact that everyone was always talking about them and the attention was on them at times when it shouldn't have been."
