Prince Harry's ghostwriter driven spare by late-night row about Diana

The Duke of Sussex's ghostwriter has recalled shouting at him during a 2am row over including an anecdote related to the late Diana, Princess of Wales, in his book Spare.

J R Moehringer, the Pulitzer prize-winning journalist who also wrote the memoirs of Andre Agassi and Phil Knight, the founder of Nike, said that he had become "exasperated" with Prince Harry and feared being fired.

He also disclosed details of their relationship, including that they call each other "dude" and that the duchess brought him trays of sweets when he visited their home in Montecito, California.

Writing in The New Yorker, Moehringer said that during the summer of last year, he and Harry were reviewing edits over Zoom when it came to a passage
