As much of the world set its eyes on Westminster Abbey in London, little Archie had a celebration of his own at home in California, US. Meghan collected fruit from her GBP11million mansion's garden to rustle up a sweet treat for her eldest child who turned four on Saturday.

A source told The Daily Mail: "He was always determined to get back in time to spend part of Archie's birthday at home." The 38-year-old hopped on a 3.45pm flight, making it to sunny Los Angeles at 6.55pm.

With Harry allegedly: "Determined to be back in time to tuck Archie into bed," he rushed back from the airport, driving 90 minutes on the highway, arriving home in the nick of time to see his boy during his celebratory day. A source told the Mail on Sunday that the ex-Suits star stayed home to celebrate Archie's birthday "because she felt it would be inauthentic to do anything else" and wanted to "minimise the drama". The Duke of Sussex, wearing medals pinned to his jacket, could be seen chatting to Princess Beatrice, Prince Andrew's daughter, and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi as he entered Westminster Abbey.

He also nodded and smiled to guests as he walked down the nave of the historic building, although Harry and his uncle, the Duke of York, did not have any formal role.
