The State Emergency Service of Ukraine announced this. The partners handed over fire lifts, fire truck ladders, and a truck with a manipulator - a total of 14 units of special automobile equipment. "Fire truck ladders and fire trucks make it possible to reach the upper floors of the buildings to evacuate people or to extinguish fires on the above.

Therefore, for us, this is an extremely necessary equipment, which is always in short supply," Serhiy Kruk, Head of the State Emergency Service, noted.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, Germany has provided a significant amount of humanitarian aid for the needs of the State Emergency Service. More than 300 units of automotive equipment, almost 700 generators of various capacities, as well as emergency, rescue, hydraulic, and special equipment were transferred.

Also provided were unmanned aerial vehicles, fire-fighting equipment, a special container for radiation and chemical intelligence and laboratory control with equipment, etc.

Previously, Ukrainian rescuers received humanitarian aid from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Rescuers received crane trucks, metal detectors with spare parts for them, protective equipment for sappers, etc.

All this is necessary for demining the territory of Ukraine.
