In the Zaporizhzhia Region, Ukrainian National Guardsmen have hit two Russian Su-25 attack aircraft. The Command of the National Guard of Ukraine said that it was possible to target the aircraft with the help of portable anti-aircraft missile systems. Now in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy is actively using combat aviation.
On May 25, the invasion troops of the Russian Federation tried to defeat the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces using a pair of Su-25. At that time, National Guardsmen with MANPADS were on combat duty.

Before that, the deaf explosions were heard. The Russian media also confirmed the incident and reported that during the combat mission "Su-25 attack aircraft was hit by an anti-aircraft missile on the Zaporizhzhya front".
Also, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, published a photo with smoke that took place at the airfield.
