“Vitalii waited for her so much”: Wife of volunteer killed in Luhansk gave birth to daughter
Nataliia is the wife of Vitalii Kyrkach-Antonenko, a volunteer who was killed in Luhansk Oblast on 9 November 2022, when the woman was three months pregnant. Nataliia gave birth to a daughter on the night of 18-19 May, she wrote on Facebook. "Please, everyone who knows my husband, Vitalii Kyrkach-Antonenko, congratulate him on becoming a father.
Anyone in Sloviansk, visit him and give Vitasyk flowers. He will never be able to hug his little daughter, but Vitalii was waiting for her so much. We dreamed together about this day and imagined our joy and pride when we could hold our firstborn in our arms," she wrote on Facebook.

By the way, the girl was named Vitalina, probably in honour of his father. Nataliia also thanked everyone who cares for the support and care she has felt over the past six months since the death of her husband. On 17 November, after her husband's funeral, the woman published a heartbreaking post saying that the child is alive and the pregnancy continues:

"You are alive, our daughter! The doctors have confirmed that you have endured this pain. Your father, Vitalii Kyrkach-Antonenko, is proud of you.
I can already see that you are similar to your dad. You are strong, brave, and love life as much as he did," she noted.

He was so happy. He dreamed of raising and pampering you. But the terrible war took him from us five days later," said the wife of the deceased volunteer.
Nataliia and Vitalii lived in Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast.
They had produced exclusive handmade porcelain and clay jewellery in their studio before the full-scale invasion.
