Russia disposes of captured ships of the Navy of Ukraine

11 June, 2023 Captured ships of the Ukrainian Navy in Crimea. Photo from open sources Russia started to illegally dispose of ships of the Navy of Ukraine captured in Sevastopol and Donuzlav, which after 2014 were located on the territory of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

This was reported on social media. Six captured ships of the Navy of Ukraine are located on the territory of the ship-scrapping berth in Inkerman. The photo captures the Project 12411T Prydniprovia missile corvette, the artillery boat Kherson (Project 1388 torpedo retriever boat), the Project 266M minesweeper Chernihiv and Cherkasy.

In addition, the photo shows the Project 12412 corvette Khmelnytskyi and the Project 1124MU corvette Lutsk.

Another photo captured that the U 9549 oil tanker of the Navy of Ukraine is moored to the left of the crane vessel. In total, at the beginning of 2022, 19 former ships, boats, and vessels of the Navy of Ukraine remained in Crimea.

The further fate of another 11 ships is unknown. The photo does not feature the Project 1124MU corvette Ternopil, the Project PV1415 anti-saboteur ship Feodosia, and the sea rescue tug Kremenets of Project 714. The fate of the large hydrographic boat Skyra of Project 1896, the small hydrographic boat U 662 of Project 16830, the raid tugboat Dubno of Project 737?, the raid boat U 926 of Project 376, the crane vessel Kalanchak of Project 771, and the non-self-propelled training vessel Velyka Oleksandrivka of Project 254 is unknown.

The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation is currently using the landing ship Kostyantyn Olshansky of Project 775 and the tugboat Kremenets of Project 714.

As of March 2020, the diesel-electric submarine Zaporizhia of Project 641 was located in Inzhenerna Bay, where it was being prepared to be transferred to Lake Donuzlav.
