Today (4 July - ed.), one of the Mariupol-based pro-Russian bloggers said that Iryna was found dead. Presumably, near the village of Respublika, where the Russian military is stationed.

According to his version, the girl was allegedly hit by a soldier, who got frightened, hid the body in the car and took it to the field, where it was found. He urged 'not to embellish' the story. ASTRA got through to the girl's mother by phone.

She confirmed that Ira was dead, but flatly refused to provide any details.

The local emergency department also refused to comment on the event."
