Nataliia Kushnerska, head of the Project, shared this with Militarnyi in an interview. She noted that 130 developments submitted for the project have already undergone a defense examination. "There are already about 300 developments uploaded on the platform, and 130 developments have already undergone defense expertise.

100 applications received Brave1 status. This means they were rated highly or average based on the defense examination results," Nataliia Kushnerska shared.

She also emphasized that the first three projects are undergoing a military access procedure. "The first projects currently undergoing the process of access to operation are ground-based robotic systems. We generally understand that these are very important projects, and they are now the focus of Brave1's attention.

They are also EW/SIGINT systems," Nataliia Kushnerska emphasized. According to the head of Brave1, the platform's primary task is to create procedures to enable the development of Ukrainian companies to quickly get to the military. Currently, the commissions and examinations for ground robotic systems are almost completed, and the EW and SIGINT systems are in the process of being completed.

Next, the team will work on passing all areas of the Brave1 project through a similar path, including:

  • weapons
  • protection and security
  • provision and logistics
  • unmanned vehicles
  • robots
  • demining
  • cybersecurity
  • intelligence
  • navigation
  • medical support.

The BRAVE1 cluster, created in Ukraine, acts as the only coordinating platform for developing the defense technology industry.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Strategic Industries jointly created the BRAVE1 project.

It operates on the basis of the Innovation Development Fund, which is part of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
