For this, more than UAH 2 billion, transferred by people and businesses to the general accounts of the organization, were spent. This was reported by the press service of the foundation on July 3. In total, for 97 days from February 1 to May 9, 2023, the Come Back Alive Foundation contracted and purchased assistance for the Defense Forces of Ukraine for UAH 2,088,602,607.92.

"For a certain period, we accumulated resources in order to invest it as much as possible at a decisive moment. And we did it, - comments Taras Chmut, head of the Come Back Alive Foundation. He added that every hryvnia of those more than 2 billion was regular donations that people and businesses had sent to the fund's accounts outside the projects.

"This gave us the opportunity, in particular, to contract weapons and pickups abroad, to purchase optics, communication equipment and copters, equipment for demining and control points -- all the things without which offensive actions and the liberation of our territories are impossible," the head of the Foundation emphasized. Weapons became the largest item of expenditure during the preparation for the counteroffensive.
