Defence ministers of Ukraine and US hold a conversation: Pentagon explains what Ramstein meeting on Tuesday will be about
On Monday, defence ministers of Ukraine and the United States, Oleksii Reznikov and Lloyd Austin, held a telephone conversation ahead of the next meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group. Source: statement of Pentagon, Reznikov on Twitter, European Pravda reports Details: The head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry reported that together with Austin he discussed the results of the Vilnius NATO summit and ways to accelerate Ukraine's movement towards compatibility with the Alliance.
The ministers also discussed plans for tomorrow's Ramstein meeting and the situation on the battlefield and the needs of the Ukrainian army for weapons and equipment, in particular the provision of cluster munitions by the United States.

It "will focus on Ukraine's near-term air defense and ammunition requirements, as well as support and sustainment for Ukraine over the long term," the press service of the US Department of Defence noted.
