The Ukrainian FPV-drone completely destroyed the TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system in the Bakhmut direction. Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, reported that SSU special unit conducted this combat mission. For the strike, the Pegasus drone was chosen, which was purchased within the Army of Drones project at the expense of Everstake company.

The released video demonstrates how an inexpensive drone can destroy such systems if it hits a launcher with ammunition. "Now, the Russians have one such system less. And, of course, there will be more destroyed invader equipment.

The Army of Drones continues to grow," Mykhailo Fedorov said. The Russian MRL was hit in the Donetsk region in the occupied village of Zaitseve, located next to the city of Bakhmut.

Pegasus is a quadcopter-type FPV drone. They are manufactured of inexpensive foreign parts and equipped with explosive devices. Such drones are transferred to many units of the Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that the Solntsepyok was created on the basis of the armored platform of the ?-90 tank, but the developers did not provide any protection to the launcher. The TOS-1A Solntsepyok also has a short firing range (between 600 and 6000 m), which makes it vulnerable to artillery and drone attacks.
