Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, says that when Russian special forces engage in sabotage in the Ukrainian rear, it means that something can fly to Moscow. The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported that some of the subversive actions in Ukraine are the work of the 45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade of Russia. "When it comes to Moscow, we traditionally do not give any comments.

But it happens. If the Russian 45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade is engaged in sabotage in the Ukrainian rear, then it means that something can fly to Moscow. This happens," said Andrii Yusov.

As previously reported, on July 4, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the neutralization of five drones in New Moscow and the Moscow region. "Four Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of New Moscow were destroyed by air defense.

Another UAV was suppressed by EW and crashed on the territory of the Odintsovo district," the statement reads. According to preliminary data, three drones moved towards Moscow at different times. Two of them were stopped by the means of electronic warfare (EW) in New Moscow, falling near the Vnukovo international airport.

Following the event, the Vnukovo international airport informed about "restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft for technical reasons." The planes headed there were diverted to other Moscow airports. Later, flight restrictions were lifted. Another drone, according to the Russian media, was allegedly shot down in the Kubinka area near Moscow - it fell on the territory of a military facility.

Telegram channels published videos taken by eyewitnesses showing a cloud of smoke. According to local residents, there were at least two explosions with an interval of a few seconds, and the reason could be the work of air defense.

These are not the first such cases, at least two drone attacks on Moscow were reported in May with the most recent one on May 30.

A long-range drone, probably a "Beaver", flying over Moscow.
