The '"Burevii" Offensive Guard brigade has received mine clearance kits from volunteers. These kits were transferred to the military by the Come Back Alive Foundation. On Monday, the military unit announced the receipt of the kits on a social media page.
In anticipation of a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russians intensively mined their lines of defense in the temporarily occupied territory.

The initiative to help facilitate the work of sappers of the 1st (Presidential) Burevii Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine was undertaken by the Come Back Alive Foundation.

The sappers of the military unit expressed their gratitude to the benefactors for the high-quality and timely received property for demining during the offensive on the positions of the Russian invaders.

Photo credits: Come Back Alive FoundationAs previously reported, the Come Back Alive Foundation jointly with Kyivstar have collected UAH 175 million under the "We Live Here" project to provide 146 engineer groups of the Ukrainian Support Forces.
The project was launched in May this year. As part of this initiative, the first groups of sappers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received means for demining at the end of July. Six kits were transferred to one of the separate regiments of the Support Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operating in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The total value of the transferred property amounts to UAH 8,318,552,75.

Photo credits: Come Back Alive FoundationIt should be noted that the sappers of the Support Forces operate in the already de-occupied territories, as well as areas of active hostilities with the aggressor state.
Currently, Ukraine is the most mined country in the world, being ahead of Syria and Afghanistan in this indicator.
According to the State Emergency Service, about 30% of the Ukrainian territory is contaminated by mines and unexploded ammunition.
