The Berdiansk City Military Administration reported this on its Facebook page. Thick black smoke is reportedly visible from every point of the city. "Citizens are reporting a fire in the Kolonia neighborhood, at the Dormash plant.

Its cause is being investigated. Berdiansk residents have apparently not heard any explosions," the statement reads. Local residents claim that the site of the fire could be the Dormash plant, where the Russians were setting up a repair base for their equipment.

In addition, a car wash and a tire service were located at the fire site. There were no reports of Russian air defense operations.

According to local residents, the most likely cause of the fire was negligence and non-compliance with safety regulations. "It seems that the invaders are again neglecting security and smoking in the wrong places," the Telegram channel Berdiansk Online reported.

Militarnyi reported that in June, the airfield near Berdiansk was hit with Storm Shadow missiles.

At the time, the Berdiansk Military Administration reported that the strike had hit the invaders' headquarters and ammunition depots.

Later, Russian propagandists published a video of missile debris, which they claimed to have been found on the outskirts of the occupied city.
