Kamikaze drone blast targets meeting of occupation ‘police’ chiefs in Enerhodar

The press service of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported about this. A meeting of the leaders of the city's occupation "police" was scheduled in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar. At approximately 9:23 a.m., a powerful explosion occurred in the office of head of the city department Pavel Chesanov.

As a result of the explosion, the head of the city department, Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Pavel Chesanov, his deputy for operational work, the head of the investigation department, the head of the duty unit, and the heads of a number of other units were injured. The explosion was caused by a kamikaze drone, whose recording was made public by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that Chesanov is a native of the Chuvash Republic, and in 2019, he received a reward weapon for "exemplary performance of duty." Immediately after the explosion, the wounded representatives of the occupation authorities were rushed to a local hospital.

It is reported that after an operational examination, three ambulances were called from Melitopol.

Then it is planned to evacuate them by helicopter to the territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, the building hit by the drone was used as a place of residence for enemy personnel, and after the explosion, a fire spread to 3-5 floors. The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports that the area of the incident is currently blocked, and the ability of civilians to move around the city is severely restricted.

The invaders also turned off the Internet on Enerhodar.
