Ukrainian Armed Forces take out critical targets in the Kherson region

The video of the incident was published on social media. The aerial reconnaissance unit spotted the position of the Osa anti-aircraft missile system, which was deployed in the deep rear of the invaders in the Kherson region. After the target was detected and identified, it was hit by a rocket strike conducted by the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher.

As a result of the successful operation, the SAM was completely destroyed. The video captured the burning of rocket fuel from the anti-aircraft missiles that were placed on the installation, as well as what remained of it after the fire had subsided.

OSINT analysts managed to geolocate the position of the anti-aircraft system to be here, seven kilometers south of Skadovsk, Kherson region. The position is 60 kilometers away from the battle contact line, currently passing along the Dnipro River.

Deep Rear Operations

Recently, active operations of Ukrainian reconnaissance drones in cooperation with long-range rocket systems have started in the area of the Isthmus of Perekop in the Kherson region.

On August 15, the Defense Forces published a video capturing the defeat of the Russian S-300V medium-range anti-aircraft missile system battery 30 kilometers east of Skadovsk in the area of the Pryvillia settlement. The reconnaissance UAV tracked the movement of the battery and its position change for an hour, after which it adjusted the HIMARS strike on it. As a result, two 9?83 TELARs and one 9?84 launcher and loader were completely destroyed.

9S32 and 9S19 radars suffered significant damage, and the road tanker vehicle was also damaged.

Later, on August 16, the strikes were reported at the training camp of the Russian invaders, which was positioned 8 kilometers away from the village of Zaliznyi Port, Kherson region.

Ukrainian artillery launched a HIMARS missile strike against an 18-person enemy force that was training at a training ground. M31A1 rockets hit some of them and a neighboring building.
