Ukrainian forces advance near Robotyne – ISW
Ukrainian troops continued offensive operations on at least three areas of the front on 18 August and advanced in the area of Robotyne in the west of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, according to the daily report from the Institute for the Study of War. Source: ISW Details: Geolocation footage posted on 18 August indicates that Ukrainian forces have made minor gains south of the village of Urozhaine on the border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, the report said.
Geolocation videos posted on 17-18 August also indicate that Ukrainian troops are holding positions in the northeast of Robotyne (10 km south of Orikhiv), the ISW said.

Russian milbloggers claimed on 18 August that Ukrainian forces control northern Robotyne and conducted assaults in unspecified areas south and southeast of the settlement after Russian forces 'temporarily withdrew' from Robotyne itself, suggesting that Ukrainian forces have made further advances in the area. The relative speed of these alleged Ukrainian advances suggests that the areas north of the settlement may have been heavily more mined than areas into which Ukrainian forces are currently trying to advance."
