This was announced on the website of the Government of Slovenia. "Ukraine has sent its best unit, which is fully self-sufficient and has all the necessary equipment. Therefore, I believe that it will be able to help in those most difficult places," Golob said.

Ukraine deployed 51 SES specialists along with special equipment. Five excavators and fourteen units of special equipment, including SHERP all-terrain vehicles, arrived in Slovenia.

Rescuers will clean up the debris and eliminate the aftermath of the flood in the Upper Savinja Valley. In addition, they will share with their Slovenian colleagues their experience in man-made disaster response, as this team was involved in the relief efforts after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station explosion. The Prime Minister of Slovenia is impressed with the speed with which Ukraine sent rescuers.

"We have offered to help them with demining, and we will be very happy to do that in the future, and they help us where they have the best equipment. It seems to me that this is the right way," Golob said.

He also thanked the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, who personally gave the order for the aid to be sent.

"I am grateful to my friend President Zelensky, who selflessly sent rescuers and transport despite the war. Solidarity knows no borders, and Ukraine has a big heart," Golob added. Andriy Taran, Former Minister of Defence and current Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovenia, noted that Slovenia is a good friend of Ukraine and can always count on its support.

Militarnyi previously reported that in Ukraine, a local company developed a new heavy-class pyrotechnic vehicle for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
