UN “appalled” by Russian attack on Reikartz hotel in Zaporizhzhia
Denise Brown, UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Ukraine, has condemned the missile strike on Zaporizhzhia that Russian forces carried out on 10 August and that damaged the Reikartz hotel, which UN representatives had used in the past during trips to Ukraine. Source: Denise Brown in a statement posted on the UN website Quote: "I am appalled by the news that a hotel frequently used by United Nations personnel and our colleagues from NGOs supporting people affected by the war has been hit by a Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia shortly ago.
It is utterly inadmissible.
