As a result of regular shelling of the Azerbaijani army's positions in the Karabakh region, as well as the Armenian army's mining of the territory, creation of additional fortifications, and firing positions, Azerbaijan reserved the right to a radical response.

Therefore, to suppress the illegal actions of the Armenian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced local anti-terrorist measures in the region to ensure constitutional order.
