Canada to provide Ukraine with more Leopard 2 tanks

CTV News reports. As part of this assistance, Canada will provide more Leopard 2 tanks. The exact number of tanks planned for delivery has not been disclosed.
As a reminder, Canada has handed over 8 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine. The Canadian Armed Forces have 112 Leopard 2 tanks of various modifications in their arsenal.

Some of them are intended for training, while others are used by combat units. As previously reported, the Canadian Department of National Defence planned to provide at least 10 Leopard 2s.
Canada will contribute £24.5 million to a British-led partnership that is purchasing air defense equipment for Ukraine. The partnership aims to acquire hundreds of short- and medium-range air defense missiles and associated systems.

As part of the "aviation coalition", Canada will develop infrastructure for Western fighter jets in Ukraine.
In July, Canada announced a new military aid package to support Ukraine and strengthen transatlantic security.
This contribution will support NATO's provision of non-lethal practical assistance to Ukraine through donations of material, including fuel, bridging equipment, rations, and first aid kits.
