2023 ????. Early in the morning, September 14, strike drones successfully attacked an unknown object in Crimea near Evpatoria. This is reported by local media.
According to local residents, at about 5:30 a.m., a group of drones attacked a target located on the outskirts of Yevpatoria. As a result of the attack, four powerful explosions were heard, and a fire was visible. The attack was accompanied by Russian air defense systems fire.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed information about the attack by traditionally providing a report on the downing of 11 drones. So far, it is not known for certain what the target of the attack was.
However, it is worth noting that on one of the videos near the hit site, there was a Russian anti-aircraft battery firing small arms, which may mean that the target could be a military facility. According to the KrymRealii project, at the place where explosions were seen today, there is a radar station for observing airspace covered with a large white radio-transparent dome. It is located between Yevpatoria and the Uyutne settlements.

In addition, part of the air defense of the Russian Federation is stationed near the village of Zaozerne. Previously, S-400 and S-300 air defense systems were spotted there. Note that the target was attacked by a new type of UAV, and not by the already commonly known Beaver drone.
Eyewitness footage showed one of the new drones in the air. At least one of the drones was indeed shot down, and its wreckage was falling over the city.

If one of the objects involved in the Crimean air defense system was destroyed, it could be considered a continuation of the already long operation to neutralize the enemy's air potential in the region. Previously, as a result of a successful operation by special forces of the DIU and Ukrainian missile forces, part of the S-400 SAM near the village of Olenivka on Cape Tarkhankut was destroyed.
