Second ship with Ukrainian grain arrives in Türkiye through temporary corridor
The second ship to use the temporary corridor to export Ukrainian grain has arrived in Turkiye. Source: France24 Details: It is noted that the Aroyat bulk carrier headed for Egypt has crossed the Black Sea through a temporary corridor and reached Turkiye carrying 17,600 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat.

Background:
- Earlier it was reported that on Friday 22 September the ship left the port of Chornomorsk with 17,600 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat for Egypt.
- The Resilient Africa cargo ship, which was the first vessel with Ukrainian agricultural products to pass through a temporary corridor in the Black Sea, arrived in the Turkish Bosphorus.
- The first two bulk carriers confirmed their readiness to use the temporary corridor towards Chornomorsk port to load almost 20,000 tonnes of wheat.
- Ukraine opened registration for merchant vessels and their owners to travel on temporary routes from/to the ports of Odesa.
- The first vessel to use the Ukrainian Black Sea corridor after Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal was the Joseph Schult vessel. It crossed the Turkish Bosporus Strait under the Hong Kong flag and arrived in Istanbul.
