The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on this. The military scans contaminated areas, such as agricultural land, and detects magnetic anomalies using drones. The sappers pass the maps with the coordinates of suspicious places to the demining teams.

In more than two weeks, almost 600 hectares of agricultural land were surveyed using a drone.

More than 1,500 magnetic anomalies were detected, and 142 corridors with an area of more than 90 hectares were monitored. It is reported that modern technical equipment allows sappers to remotely scan areas on land, in water, and underwater.

This helps to identify the locations of explosive objects, as well as other objects that pose a risk to human life and require special attention and careful demining work. Militarnyi reported that in Ukraine, an affordable unmanned mine-clearing system -- Iron Caterpillar -- is being developed.

A robotic mine roller will carry out mine-clearing operations both in civilian areas in the rear and minefields directly on the battlefield.

In addition, it was reported that the donors handed over armored vehicles to the sappers of the Kherson region.

This transport will allow sappers to safely reach the demining areas and reduce the risks to their lives.
