The specialists in Ukraine have learned to extend the service life of missiles to Soviet anti-tank systems (ATGMs). The Ukrainian General Staff said that this is done by the specialists of the Command of the Logistics Forces and its subordinate units. "The second life of Soviet missiles of the ATGMs is given by the specialists of the Command of the Logistics Forces and its subordinate part," the General Staff said.

According to the technology, such ammunition must be sent for repair and maintenance to the manufacturer after a certain period. "In our case, to the aggressor state, where the former Soviet enterprises are located," the military noted.

However, Ukrainian experts have invented a method that allows to carry out all the necessary procedures in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using Soviet-made MANPADS and ATGM to counter Russian invasion. These relatively easy-to-use systems hinder the advance of heavy enemy armor.

The ATGM stands for "anti-tank guided missile systems." This is a set of devices designed to launch anti-tank guided missiles and destroy heavy enemy ground equipment.
