This was reported on the President's social media pages. Zelensky spoke with servicemen and the command of military units. "Today, we are visiting our brigades that are performing combat missions in one of the hottest sectors - Kupiansk-Lyman," Zelensky wrote.
In particular, the President spoke to the soldiers of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade, 68th Jaeger Brigade "Oleksa Dovbush," and 25th Airborne Brigade "Sicheslav". The President also discussed the operational situation on the battlefield, topical issues, and needs of the military with the brigade commanders and combatants.

The President thanked Ukrainian defenders for their work to destroy Russian invaders. "Each of our combat brigades, each soldier who destroys the invaders, with each step forward, asserts that the Ukrainian victory will certainly come. You are the force!
Thank you for your service!" Zelensky added. According to the morning statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. In the Lyman sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks near Makiyivka, Luhansk region.

The Russians are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense line and draw Ukrainian main forces and reserves away from the southern direction, where Ukraine is currently conducting offensive actions to liberate the temporarily occupied districts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions and gain access to the Azov Sea.
