Lithuania speaks at Ramstein about progress of mine clearance coalition

On Wednesday, Lithuania took part in the 17th meeting of the Contact Group for the Defence of Ukraine (Ramstein format), which took place online and reported on the progress in establishing the mine clearance coalition initiated by it.  Source: Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence, as European Pravda writes  Details: At Ramstein, Lithuania announced a new concept of the mine clearance coalition.

It assumes that Lithuania will try to help Ukraine "both in combat and in humanitarian mine clearance ", the country's Defence Ministry specified.

Vilnius expects to present the final details of the concept in December. So far, 21 countries have expressed their willingness to participate in the mine clearance coalition.  In addition, according to the report, more than 50 participants in Ramstein discussed other coalitions that are at the stage of development, the course of hostilities in Ukraine and the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army in terms of weapons. 

Lithuania also announced that the total amount of its military support to Kyiv is about half a billion euros, and by the end of 2023, it will direct another EUR40 million in military aid.
