Osint analysts managed to identify the oil depot, which was located at Budonnoho St, 79 and belonged to the ASI Oil gas station chain. The damage to the oil depot is difficult to assess, but the extensive fire indicates damage to the reservoir or underground storage facility.

Donetsk is a frontline city that serves as an important logistics hub for Russian troops.

The well-developed oil infrastructure in the form of gas stations and oil depots allows storing a huge amount of fuels and lubricants. On December 9, Militarnyi reported that a large-scale fire broke out in Russian-occupied Makiivka, Donetsk region, after a powerful explosion. At that time, local Telegram channels published photos of debris of unknown origin allegedly found in Makiivka.

On December 4, it was reported that a group of drones of an unknown type attacked the Luhansk oil depot, located about hundreds of kilometers from the combat line.

After the hit on the infrastructure, according to local residents, one of the reservoirs with fuel caught a fire.

On the territory around the facility, the invaders placed firing positions to shoot at the drones with small arms, but this did not help.
