Come Back Alive Foundation handed over 8 four-wheel drive pickup trucks for Ukrainian Navy aviators

The Come Back Alive Foundation has delivered 8 four-wheel drive pickup trucks for the needs of the 10th Navy Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy. The Come Back Alive Foundation reported on this. The pickup trucks were reportedly purchased in cooperation with Ukrnafta.

The purchase price is UAH 7,987,642.7. All the vehicles have been operating at the frontline for several months now, actively providing logistics and mobility to our pilots. In total, due to Ukrnafta's donations, more than 45 vehicles, a fuel tanker, and a Spartan armored personnel carrier have been purchased for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

On December 20, it was reported that 15 new Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks were delivered to the 22nd Mechanized Brigade. The total cost of the purchase was UAH 12,471,171.75. New vehicles are needed for the evacuation of wounded, as well as for the prompt delivery of ammunition, property, and fighters to the positions.

Previously, on November 7, the Come Back Alive Foundation supplied pickup trucks and mine clearance equipment to 20 engineering and demining teams of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition to volunteer organizations, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also purchased SUVs. A tender to purchase 1,016 pickup trucks has been announced in the Prozorro government e-procurement system.

The listed customer is the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Tenderers must submit their proposals by the end of the day on December 27, 2023. According to the tender documentation, the expected cost of purchasing equipment is UAH 1,749,865,263,28.

These should be new pickups with a double-row cab, all-wheel drive, and a body with an 800 kg lifting capacity and a clearance of at least 180 mm. Cars must be equipped with an engine with a capacity of at least 120 hp and a towbar. The SUVs are to be delivered to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine by March 15, 2024.

By this date, all vehicles must be delivered to the military, without any breakdown into batches.
