Drones Attacked Oil Depot in Luhansk

Drones struck an oil depot in occupied Luhansk. This was announced by Artem Lysohor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration. On December 3, at about 23:00, a group of drones of an unknown type attacked the Luhansk oil depot, located about hundreds of kilometers from the line of contact.

After the hit on the infrastructure, according to local residents, one of the tanks with fuel catched a fire. On the territory around the facility, the invaders placed firing positions for drones targeting from small arms, but this did not help.

As of the morning, the oil depot was still burning - they could not extinguish the fire. Currently, Luhansk remains an important logistics center for the Russian army. Fuel from this particular oil depot could be used by the invaders to support mechanized units and automotive equipment of the Russian Armed Forces.

It is worth noting that a group of drones was able to bypass the echelon air defense and electronic warfare of the Russians. Judging by the sounds, heavy drones with an piston engine were used to strike, which indicates their launch from Ukraine controlled territories. Recall that on November 5, a depot with ammunition of the Russian army exploded in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region in the village of Sedove.

Sedove is located near the border with the Russian Federation more than 100 kilometers from the front line and 45 km east of Mariupol.

Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko said that "almost the entire village was transformed into a depot and parking lot of military vehicles."
