Source: Ukraine's National Resistance Center (NRC) Details: The National Resistance Center notes that Russia's plans are far from reality, as the Russians themselves have destroyed the region's industrial potential and are still doing so.

Furthermore, any Russian engineers arriving in the region to rebuild the destroyed industrial facility to work for the Russians will be targeted by the resistance movement: "No one will remain anonymous and escape responsibility."

Azovmash is one of Ukraine's largest engineering plants, involved in building rail wagons and heavy and general engineering. It lies in the Russian-occupied city of Mariupol. Early in the full-scale invasion, some Ukrainian defenders, including the marines of the 36th Brigade, were on the plant's premises.

Later, some of the soldiers joined the defenders of Azovstal steelworks, whereas the Russian occupying forces captured others.
