Verkhovna Rada simplified the imports of EW system to Ukraine

Photo credits: Mykhailo Fedorov The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill that simplifies the imports of electronic warfare (EW) equipment into Ukraine. People's Deputy Iryna Herashchenko reported on this.

"Parliament exempted the imports of components necessary for radar systems and EW systems from VAT, thus simplifying their import," Herashchenko wrote. She noted that the Parliament passed the Law on Amendments to paragraph 32 of subsection 2 of section XX "Transitional provisions" of the Tax Code of Ukraine on the peculiarities of the import of goods for security and defense needs into the customs territory of Ukraine #10341. Taxation will not be applied to goods received by law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces, the security, and defense forces.
