Defence intelligence officers conducted a raid in Belgorod region

5 January, 2024 A Ukrainian DIU operators lays a mine-explosive device on a road in the Belgorod region The officers of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine conducted a raid operation to eliminate high-ranking officials of the Russian Armed Forces. The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported on this.

According to the intelligence, the top leadership of the Russian Armed Forces planned to conduct an inspection at Russian positions in the Grayvoronsky district of Belgorod region due to complaints from personnel about service conditions. Before the arrival of the Moscow "inspectors", the ordinary invaders began to fuss and they began to carry out active engineering work. In order to inflict losses on the enemy and to undermine their moral and psychological state, officers of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine planned and carried out a special operation.

While performing the task, operators mined the only road used by the invaders in the area and set up an ambush around it. Intelligence officers also attacked a Russian stronghold with small arms and mortars.

The total number of invaders killed and wounded in the attack on Russian positions and mine explosions is being clarified.

Raid operations of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine conducts numerous operations on the territory of the occupied territories, as well as beyond them in Russia's deep rear. One of such operations conducted by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine last year and partially disclosed to the public was a raid by the Timur special forces group on the territory of occupied Crimea.

A heavily armed group of intelligence officers crossed the Black Sea on boats and modified jet skis and landed on the coast of the peninsula north of the cape near the village of Severne.

In the course of the operation, the group was accompanied and coordinated at the sea and during the landing by drones with thermal imaging optics.
