Russia deploys the newest Yastreb-AV system to war against Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the system entered service with artillery units deployed on the territory of Ukraine. Along with the Zoopark-1M system, Yastreb-AV is detecting artillery firing positions. The characteristics of the 1?148 Yastreb-AV counter-battery radar system were not publicized.

The system's model was demonstrated at the Army-2022 forum. The Russian military started receiving it recently, and tests were completed only in late 2021 or early 2022.
