A frame from the video RIA NOVOSTI The Russian invaders started equipping their tanks with the Sania EW system, which should jam FPV drones. The Russian media showed the ?-80BVM tank, which is equipped with such a jamming system.

Originally, the Sania Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System (C-UAS) electronic warfare system wasn't designed for armored vehicles. Its primary purpose was to prevent unauthorized drone intrusion into confidential territories. The manufacturer stated that this system is able to detect, identify, and neutralize FPV drones at a considerable distance.

Sania is a modified system based on technologies that ensure the blocking of drone signals. Installation of the C-UAS system can be both stationary and mobile.

In a stationary installation, a bracket or tripod is used, depending on the purpose of the installation. In mobile use, when the dome complex is attached to a car or APC, Sania is able to work in motion. "The equipment of this system allows us to detect and jam both single FPV drones and swarms of drones within a radius of up to 1.5 km," the manufacturers say.
