Soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces received 40 automatic grenade launchers from donors

These weapons were purchased through the "Eye for an Eye 2" joint project by the Come Back Alive Foundation and the OKKO gas station chain. The Come Back Alive Foundation reported on this. These 40-mm automatic grenade launchers, along with ammunition, were delivered to the 111th and 126th Brigades of the Territorial Defense Forces of Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The UAG-40 grenade launcher is designed to destroy enemy manpower and firepower. The weapon fires NATO-standard 40x53mm grenades in an M16 metal tape. The UAG-40 can be mounted on a tripod mount, or on an armored vehicle or other equipment.

The grenade launcher is controlled by two grips located in the back of the case or by one grip and a shoulder rest. For the convenience of a shooter, the grips can fixed both horizontal and vertical positions.

The right-hand grip is equipped with a trigger that has two modes - for single shots and for firing bursts.

The trigger guard and bolt are equipped with safety devices that prevent accidental firing. As previously reported, the Come Back Alive Foundation and OKKO gas station chain raised UAH 400 million for arming Territorial Defense Forces. The aim of the project is to purchase and deliver 300 82mm mortars, 200 heavy machine guns, and 100 automatic 40mm grenade launchers to the Armed Forces' brigades.

In particular, 200 DShKM large-caliber machine guns had already been purchased abroad and handed over to the brigades of Territorial Defense Forces in August 2023. This amount is enough to fully cover the regular need for such weapons for the brigades of Territorial Defense Forces.

The first 82mm mortars were delivered in September last year to two brigades of Territorial Defense Forces.
