BMR-600

The Spanish BMR-600 6x6 wheeled armored personnel carrier was developed in the first half of the 1970s.

Serial production of the armored personnel carrier was launched in 1979. It was produced in both basic and specialized versions. It is one of the main armored personnel carriers of the Spanish Army.

The BMR has also been supplied to other countries. The basic version of the BMR-600 is designed to transport 11 soldiers and two crew members: a driver and a gunner. The body of the vehicle is made of aluminum armor.

The driver's seat is located at the front of the hull on the left. There is a hatch in the roof of the hull above the driver's seat. The engine and transmission compartment is located to the right of the driver.
