SSU reported this on their official website. The agent's primary task was to record the temporary deployment sites of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units involved in combat operations in the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. The detainee independently traveled around settlements in the districts of Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Selydove, Novohrodivka, and Mykhailivka to collect intelligence.

To take photos and videos of the positions, the offender could travel up to 100 kilometers a day near the front line using public transportation. The offender was detained in her own home due to the SSU's operational actions. Her mobile phone, which she used to capture positions and transmit relevant information to the Russian FSS, was seized.
According to the investigation, the suspect is a 33-year-old resident of Novohrodivka, who, in October 2023, was remotely recruited by a personnel officer of the FSS. The woman came to the attention of the Russians because of her active anti-Ukrainian position and activity on social media. To communicate with the enemy, the woman used an anonymous chat room, where she sent photos and marked them on a map.

The offender received a "reward" from the Russian curator for the completed tasks, which was transferred to her bank account. The detainee is currently in custody and faces life imprisonment. Militarnyi recently reported that in Kyiv, the SSU counterintelligence detained an ex-commander who worked for the Russian FSS intelligence service and carried out information sabotage.
The detainee was a former official who worked at the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Coal Industry.
