The vehicles are fully equipped with defibrillators, ventilators, stretchers, oxygen tanks, etc. The ambulances are based on civilian Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, and due to the specified equipment, they can not only transport seriously wounded people but also provide them with the necessary assistance during transportation. In addition to ambulances with equipment worth EUR 150 thousand, Ukraine also received 400 kg of humanitarian aid from Finnish partners.

The vehicles will be delivered to medical institutions in the east of Ukraine that are in the greatest need of modern life-saving equipment.

Militarnyi previously reported that Japan donated modern medical equipment to military medical institutions in Ukraine. This was made possible through the cooperation of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.

In particular, the National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Clinical Hospital" received a modern CANON Aplio i700 ultrasound diagnostic system.

The Ministry of Defense noted that a total of five units of state-of-the-art medical equipment were transferred under the project.
