Fires rage after several Shahed drones strike Dnipro – photo

The Russian army has attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with Shahed loitering munitions. Ten drones were intercepted, but others hit and caused fires, said Serhii Lysak, Head of the Oblast's Military Administration. Source: Lysak on Telegram

Quote from the head of the Oblast Military Administration: "For the second night in a row, there was a massive UAV attack on the oblast. Our defenders destroyed 10 Shaheds in the Dnipro district, but several of them hit. An energy facility came under attack; a fire broke out and was extinguished by rescue workers.

The aggressor also hit an infrastructure facility which caught fire too. The fire was quickly extinguished."

Details: Lysak added that power engineers have already restored power to residents of the Pavlohrad district who were without electricity after the attack on 12 February. Currently, power engineers are working in the city of Dnipro and, as the head of the Oblast Military Administration reported, have already restored power to almost all houses.

The Russian army fired artillery at Nikopol. They shelled the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets and the Myrove hromada [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories].

Three private houses were damaged. One outbuilding was destroyed, and another one was damaged.

Fifty solar panels were smashed.

However, no injuries or casualties resulted from any of the strikes.
