Germany allocates additional military aid to Ukraine worth €100 million

The German Ministry of Defense announced this. The package includes ammunition for drones, trucks, and spare parts for various weapons. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced the new aid package during the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format on February 14.
The Minister noted that the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, General Carsten Breuer, met with the new Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in Kyiv during his visit to Ukraine last week. He promised short-term assistance worth more than EUR100 million.

These weapons have already been delivered or will be delivered to Armed Forces of Ukraine in the near future. According to the minister, supplies and repairs in the third year of the war will become even more important than before, the German Defense Ministry said in a press release. Boris Pistorius emphasized that Germany supplied military aid to Ukraine almost daily.
According to him, the Ukrainian military recently received missiles for the IRIS-T SLS air defense system, 155mm artillery ammunition, six mine clearance vehicles, a bridge-laying tank and an engineering vehicle, as well as protected vehicles and reconnaissance drones.

This ammunition was ordered by the German government as part of its military aid to Ukraine.
