"We have been cooperating with the requesting training center for a long time on Poseidon UAVs. We buy the drones and control systems for them and provide high-quality pilot training. The success of this project made them contact us again.

Our task is to improve the quality of work with Shark UASs. To fill the need for a training center and provide high-quality pilot training on its basis. Immediately afterward, the birds will fly to the East," Poroshenko said.

The Poroshenko Foundation and volunteers of the Sprava Hromad NGO are systematically transferring UAVs of various types and purposes and other equipment to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Shark UAS

The Shark unmanned aerial system is a development of the Ukrspecsystems. These UASs are used by the Ukrainian military to reconnoiter, adjust, and record the destruction of various targets by artillery and other long-range weapons. The UASs are characterized by good protection against enemy electronic warfare (EW), as well as a range of 60-80 kilometers, depending on the modification.

The drone's flight range is 300 kilometers, and its duration is more than 4 hours. The maximum flight speed of the drone reaches 130 kilometers per hour. The maximum altitude to which the Shark can rise does not exceed three kilometers.

A Shark UAS usually consists of 2-3 drones, a launcher, and a control station.

The drone is launched using a catapult and landed using a parachute.
